We stayed at Lavender Vale earlier this year, wow what a fabulous location set in a beautiful five acres. Easy drive to the Bay of Islands which is just Breathtaking, along with Ninety Mile Beach and Russell which were our favourites. Awesome place Modern secluded beautiful accommodation and gardens, close to all attractions found in the beautiful Bay of Islands Sheila and Rob are fantastic hosts we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend

Amazing B&B - beautiful home, stunning views, & wonderful, welcoming hosts! Lavender Vale is an extremely modern, comfortable, and spacious home, with gorgeous views of the surrounding grounds and landscape! Our room was perfect for the stay. We enjoyed privacy when needed and social time in the common areas as well. We looked forward each morning to coffee on the patio to enjoy the views, and breakfast... read moreLavender Vale is an extremely modern, comfortable, and spacious home, with gorgeous views of the surrounding grounds and landscape! Our room was perfect for the stay. We enjoyed privacy when needed and social time in the common areas as well. We looked forward each morning to coffee on the patio to enjoy the views, and breakfast to follow was delicious and abundant! Perfectly prepared before we began our excursions each day in the local area. We visited local towns and took an amazing boat ride around the Bay of Islands. We were up close with a real-life dolphin show. It was a once in a lifetime experience! We also found some great places for light hiking in the area. As we planned each excursion each day, Rob and Sheila provided wonderful insights to the local area and history of New Zealand.

I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else when we visit again. (I even tried to steal their cute dogs and take them home with me, but Rob wouldn’t let me.) ? This is a perfect place to stay on the North Island of New Zealand. We hope to come back one day and see Rob and Sheila again - they are the best! read less

Excellent stay at Lavender Vale over Easter weekend 2019. Sheila and Rob have a lovely spot just outside Keri Keri - great for exploring the surrounding area. They were both so accommodating with arranging breakfast around our schedule and had great advice about places to visit and things to do. Fantastic stay and hope to visit again!
